Good morning everyone we have just a little bit of sprinkles of rain then it will remain cloudy for most of the day before getting sunny. The winds are out of the west but not bad at all. Anglers are pulling up by boat to grab minnows and other flounder baits as the bite continues to get better each day. Some of the bigger center console boats are heading out front to look for flounder on the wrecks as it's starting to heat up on them also seabass. It's looking good for Sunday to head out for bluefin and boats are already prepping and getting their ballyhoo and squid chains. If you are planning to head out this weekend I would definitely make sure you have some squid chains along with machine head stingers. Large/medium or mediums have been the go to size. I'll be rigging up some squid chains that will be available for purchase along with all the other brands we carry but there are some color combos that have been producing better that are not offered by the big brands. Plenty of minnows are available and we will be getting more in later today. If you need reels done I suggest getting them over sooner rather then later as we are extremely busy with reels and custom tackle request. Have a great day and get out and fish!

Good morning everyone pretty windy day today but anglers are still heading out(mostly land) looking for flounder, sheepshead, triggerfish, and striper. Other anglers are busy getting geared up for the awesome bluefin bite going on. We're spooling up reels in prep for the tournament season and we have another big shipment of hollow core and mono coming in tomorrow to keep the spooling going. Lots of ballyhoo and squid chains are heading out the door as that's what the bluefins have wanted. Pinks, purples, and greens have been the hot colors. The TN- Tackle pink head crystal hair ballyhoo skirt has been a favorite. Hopefully we will see a push of yellowfin and bigeye move into our local canyons over the next week. The tilefish bite has been phenomenal along with Rosie's out in our local canyons. Seabass season is coming close to ending but they are in shallower water along with triggerfish. Pictured below is Capt Dave from Overtime Sportfishing with his charter yesterday on some nice bluefins close to home. If you are looking to get out on the bluefin action give Capt Dave a shout he's a great fisherman and fun to fish with! Have a great day and get out and fish.

Good morning everyone it's a beautiful morning and anglers are already rushing in to grab minnows and spearing to head out for some flounder. I still have heard of some reports of striper and drum being caught in the surf in brigantine mostly and a few from the beach between the t jetty and steel pier on clam. I have clam in the shell or salted. Clam in the shell is 9$/dozen right now until I'm out. Sheepshead and some trigger fish are moving in. Fishing the tips of the finger jetties or the bulkhead at the sea wall has produced fish on sandfleas. A couple anglers have also caught some slot bass on sandfleas while fishing for triggers and sheepshead. We currently have excellent quality vacuumed sealed and frozen sandfleas available in pint size bags. Tipping one of our in house haywire jigs with a flea has been working and they are approved by Capt Bob from Logos Guide Service who has been using them for his sheepshead excursions lately. (The pictures below of Capt bobs charter with the sheepshead and striper are changed backgrounds out of request and respect all fish were caught on haywire natural color jigs) also pictured below is Joe Henry with 3 nice flounder a 22, 20.5, and a 19.5 inch fish. A few boats went out in search of bluefin Saturday and were rewarded with limits and plenty of extra catch and release. Most boats pulled a mixture large/medium ballyhoo and squid chains and bars. Have a great day and get out and fish if you can!

Good morning everyone it's a beautiful morning it is going to get windier in the afternoon but right now is great. We are just about out of minnows but are expecting more within an hour or two. Yesterday was a hit or miss for the boaters. Some boats did excellent on a minnow and gulp hi lo setup and other boats had a ton of shorts. There's still bass and drum hanging in the surf and we do have live clam in the shell if you are heading to the beaches to fish or inlet for only 9$/dozen. Triggerfish and sheepshead are showing up more and sandfleas will do the trick. We currently have frozen fleas which are really nice and will be getting live ones this week. Aquaholic and crew had a great day yesterday on the tilefish with a good mixture of blue line and goldens. Shop will be open until 2:30 today.
Have a great day and get out and fish!

Good morning everyone shops been busy all morning finally have a moment to update on some fishing and what's available. Boaters are heading out to the bay in search of flounder and I have already received reports of quite a few keepers being caught. Live minnows and fire tiger gull have been hot baits along with spearing. Anglers hitting the beach are grabbing live clam and bunker since there are still bass, drum and blues around. The bluefish keep coming in waves of fish one day they are here then they are gone for a day or two. Working an sp minnow while throwing some bunker chunks has been the best for blues. We still have minnows and live clam available and plenty of frozen baits. Some boats are getting ready to head out to the deep today and tomorrow in search of tuna as ballyhoo has been flying out the door. Boats choosing to fish within 30 miles are grabbing squid imitators as up north there is a ton of squid around and reports of bluefin on them. Can't go wrong with green and purple bars and chains this time of the year and always have a couple Ballys way back with blue/white skirts or pink/white skirts. We highly reccomend either TN-Tackle heads or Wolfpack or original Joe shutes which we have all in stock. I'm going to photo dump some pictures from the past two days as I have not had a chance to update yesterday. Have a great day and get out and fish!
