Catching up on a few reports.

Fishing has been overall good the last couple weeks when weather allowed us to get out

Blue marlins, some dolphins, wahoo, and tuna around. Friday catching a blue marlin and 8 sails on an all lady angler day.

Yesterday we had another all lady group with Salty Penny Canvas. Fishing was a bit slower, pulled off a nice blue one and saw a couple of sails that didn’t cooperate.

We are looking forward to heading up to Pirate's Cove Billfish Tournament this week for the last tournament of the NC Billfish Series

We still have days available in August and September! Come get in on one of the most overlooked times of the year for fishing out of Beaufort Inlet!

Great way to celebrate the 250th birthday of our great country.

We got to go do what we love and were rewarded with a special day shared with our friends.

15 sailfish and 1 white marlin released for the team today.

We hope everyone got to spend time with special folks in their lives and enjoyed celebrating Independence Day!

The weather has been difficult the last week. We were able to take out a couple of groups of anglers on Sat, Sun, and yesterday. Great time of year for fishing and July should only get better.

Had a blue marlin and 5 sails on Saturday, a sail and a couple blue marlin that we lost on Sunday and yesterday 3 blue marlin. Also some dolphins each day for the crowds to take home for dinner.

First day out after Big Rock! Still plenty of fish around. We had a great day with these dads and their sons.

Slam plus a blue marlin for us today and a slam plus 2 sails for our dock partners….excellent fishing!

Also had some dolphins to go with it!

Big Rock 2026
We have got everything we know we can ready on the old girl so she can do battle this week. Good luck and safety are our thoughts for the entire fleet this week. As for our team, we are excited to have a chance to compete with such incredible marlin fisherman from across the globe. ……oh and one more thing. 👇

Today was another fantastic day on the Rican.

This is what we love! First time blue marlins today for three lady anglers

Lucky to go 4/4 on blue marlins

One of the ladies, a junior angler, absolutely did a fantastic job on the reel and in the chair.

Thanks to Salty Penny Canvas crew for coming on board today to help us test the new salon and exterior mezzanine and bridge cushions they put together for us over the winter……Top notch craftsmanship and now proven marlin magnets 😁

Great day today for the Rid-A-Pest team!

The only “Monday blues” on the boat today were the ones they caught! It was all smiles and excitement today.

4 blue marlins and 3 white marlins

And mahi for dinner.

Grateful for a special day like this. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does it’s unreal.

We still have plenty of days in late June and July. Great time to get your staff or family out on the water!
