The Atlantic Beach Classic on the Epson Tour last week was an awesome experience. A lot of thank you’s are owed:

* All of the San Jose members and everyone else who watched, cheered, and messaged well wishes
* The volunteers who gave their time to support the event
* Atlantic Beach Country Club members and staff for being outstanding hosts and providing a prime golf course
I’m proud to have a premier women’s professional golf event in my town and hope it continues to grow for years to come ⛳️

The San Jose 9 Hole Ladies Golf Association hosted their annual Red, White and Blue Tournament yesterday. These women honored their family members who have served and I know a few of the women served our country themselves. I’m proud to work with this group each week.

The 2024 Women’s PGA Cup at Sunriver Resort is another week I’ll never forget. It’s an honor to represent your country and professional organization, and it’s also inspiring to meet other female professionals around the world and learn how they are making the game better. I’m grateful for the time with my teammates, captains, and support squad.

A big thank you to the PGA of America for this wonderful event and the staff who work day and night to ensure every detail is perfect. Captain John Lindert, Don Rea (Jr.), and Wendy you all were amazing coaches and cheerleaders. Thanks to Adam and my mom for coming out to cheer on the USA. Thank you to family, friends, students, and San Jose for the well-wishes from home.

Big thanks to everyone for the encouragement last week at the KPMG Championship at Sahalee. My family is always there for me (in person and in spirit) as number one fans. Playing in a major championship is a special and humbling experience. Sahalee is an absolute beauty of a golf course, fair but very challenging. I’m grateful to have the support of Corebridge Financial, the PGA and LPGA, San Jose Country Club, and Callaway Golf for the opportunity to play in this championship.

That’s a wrap on the 2024 PGA Professionals Championship. We had golf of course, with a side of: rain, wind, sun, heat, fog. Major thanks to the hubs for caddying this week. He carried the rain gear, umbrella, many snacks, and me through the long days. Thank you for all the messages of support this week! I’ve never received so many emails, texts, social media posts. I certainly appreciate the well wishes from our members and juniors at San Jose!

Thanks to the PGA for your efforts to get 72 holes of golf complete. Roger Meier and staff have PGA Frisco in beautiful condition.

Thank you to Paul Ernest and his team at Fields Ranch for a wonderful experience throughout the week. We even finished second in the Pro-Sponsor with Bunny, and Mike one of my great supporters at Callaway.

The Saturday SNAG Junior Clinic at San Jose had a beautiful morning for golf. The juniors worked on a bit of putting distance control with the help of some very special duckies. And of course, mastering the full swing trophy finish.

The 2024 PGA Show was a great experience for education and visiting with friends. This game of golf started as something I loved to do with family and turned into a career. It has given me lifelong friends, the opportunity to travel, and a way to connect with people in my community and abroad. I’m happy to be back to ‘work’, helping people enjoy this crazy game more!

It was an honor to be presented this afternoon as the 2023 Women’s PGA Professional Player of the Year. This was a big goal of mine and I’m really proud to have accomplished it. I have a lot of people to thank who encouraged and helped me along the way. You never accomplish anything alone. I’ve enjoyed working on my game again the last few years, and I really believe this has helped me become a better coach, too.

It was a privilege to stand with the other award winners, who are leading the way for our fellow PGA Professionals. Congrats to the Class of 2024 PGA National Award Winners!
