One of our blue ones from last week! We are back home and start fishing on Wednesday. We are hoping for a good last couple months of the season. Got some open days sprinkled throughout September which has been a great month out of Morehead last couple years

Not much to report on the fishing end. But on a good note Hunter and his wife Arrington had their first child. We welcomed (Mullet ) Bayliss Warren Brafford into this world early Saturday morning at a whopping 6 pounds 1 oz.

Apparently the first words he got to here was from Hunter telling him in the first minute of his life (I Sure Hope You Like Blue Marlins)! Mom and Baby are at home and doing well.

I want to say a big Thank You to Daniel Caison and Grant Hampton and the rest of our tournament team for filling in for me and Hunter during the Dare County Boat Builders Tournament being we had to leave last minute.

Have been slack on getting any pictures the last few days but it’s been world class marlin fishing for the entire fleet!...

Have been slack on getting any pictures the last few days but it’s been world class marlin fishing for the entire fleet! Fished Thursday and caught a blue one and 5 out of a lot of sails. Friday we saw 4 blue ones and had 3 bites but had some bad luck and only caught 1 of those and 4/4 sails. We took Saturday off for the 4th and was back at it today. Today was much slower fishing. Caught 2 sails. Looks like we got a lot of SW wind coming this week so not sure what days we’ll be able to make. Big Rock Kids starts Thursday. Hopefully the good fishing continues.

Hopefully this is gonna be the start of our mid summer fishing! Slam plus 2 sails. I think everyone had 5 bites or better. Excited for the next few months. Unfortunately the weather will have us tied to the dock the rest of the week it looks like.
