Weight gain and lupus has challenged me in ways I didn’t expect—physically, mentally, and emotionally. There were times I didn’t recognize my body, but I’ve learned to give myself grace and listen to what it needs.

Your body is not your enemy. Healing isn’t linear, and you’re not alone in this.

Stress isn’t just a feeling—it shows up in the body, especially when you’re living with autoimmune conditions like lupus.

Learning how to manage stress has been a huge part of protecting my energy, my flare-ups, and my overall well-being. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being intentional. Slowing down. Moving my body with care. Nourishing myself in ways that actually support healing.

For anyone navigating lupus or other autoimmune challenges—give yourself permission to rest, to listen, and to honor what your body is asking for. Your wellness isn’t a luxury, it’s necessary.

This is your reminder: gentle movement, breath, and consistency go a long way. You deserve to feel supported in your body. 💜
