Hosted by the Ladies Athletic Club of Atlanta in partnership with Atlanta Fibroid Center atlantafibroidcenter this event will bring together leading physicians, advocates, and women committed to advancing the conversation around women’s health.

🌟 LACA Member of the Month | June 2026 🌟

Dr. Teddi Virgil - Teddi

This month, we are proud to recognize Dr. Teddi Virgil as our LACA Member of the Month.

A board-certified pediatrician, healthcare leader, wife, mother, athlete, and community builder, Teddi embodies the spirit of what it means to be a member of the Ladies Athletic Club of Atlanta.

After earning her undergraduate degree from Duke University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Meharry Medical College, Teddi dedicated her career to caring for children and families. Her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care led to recognition as a Mom-Approved Doctor by Atlanta Parent Magazine and laid the foundation for her continued impact in healthcare leadership. Today, she serves as a Medical Director for Elevance Health, where she helps advance innovative solutions that improve access to quality healthcare and patient outcomes.

Beyond her impressive professional accomplishments, Teddi is a passionate advocate for living a balanced and active lifestyle. Whether she’s running, practicing Pilates, training at F45, or stepping onto the tennis court, she consistently prioritizes wellness while balancing the demands of career and family life.

Since joining LACA, Teddi has become a familiar and inspiring presence within our tennis community. Her enthusiasm, positivity, and willingness to connect with others have made her an integral part of the club. Through LACA, she has rekindled her love of tennis while building meaningful friendships and embracing a community rooted in wellness, growth, and connection.

Teddi reminds us that success is not only measured by professional achievements but also by the way we show up for ourselves, our families, and our communities.
