Transparent Post: The past couple years I have just really sat back & analyzed people, instructors, and social media in a whole. Total honesty I was depressed when we were first made to stay home because of the pandemic but now in hindsight it was the BEST THiNG to ever happen to my personal growth. When I started Trap Pilates in 2017 it was out of my Love for Rap Music… my people in Suwanee that knew me got it… but I had naysayers saying Pilates is not with Rap Music… you can’t do that … but you know I don’t listen and did!!!! It was the best thing I did… I moved my studio from Suwanee to downtown Atlanta and flourished … yet still had haters!!! People and instructors talked s**t about me for using Rap Music. Now what do I see… those same instructors using Rap music in their post and videos …. My my my how things have changed…. I even had one instructor ask me why have I fell off in doing classes and such … this is one of the same ones that said Pilates is not using Rap music yet she has switched to doing this in all her post…. But what no one knew was I was creating something much bigger… for years I have held secrets of clients, and instructors getting Cosmetic Surgery and not wanting anyone to know because they wanted to appear it all came from “working out” When 2 clients from out of town came to stay with me this summer I strategized and talked to my hubs about creating a space for them for aftercare. In my mind and from experience seeing the confidence that surgery gave to them made them go harder in class once they recovered .. So I birthed … it is not just a recovery space for after surgery care but the beginning of a new phase for when restart your fitness journey. I was able to add a service to those who quietly have done this for years & guess what that’s not it ..coming next year a new AlterEgo Pilates studio will be opening for those who want to physically do Trap Pilates w/me everyday or whenever your hearts desire… this time I’m building my own space … no lease but owning the spot …so perfection takes time …. So I’m popping my own collar this Saturday & tell the haters to keep watching.. I’m onto new levels ♥️

That’s a question I’m sure we all have asked our selves before. This week I personally set down with someone that had battle this for years. She done the right things yet still that little FUPU would not do away. So what do you do??? Her answer was Plastic Surgery. Is this the new cheat code??? Or the new norm??? I’m going to start to explore and talk about all this. No lies told this way….. sometimes I think as fitness professionals we should be honest and not sell a lie. Don’t say if you do this you will get this result. All bodies are different and I guarantee half of those same IG famous fit peeps have had some type of work done …🤔Let’s talk about it……

Happy Monday Trappers….. it is of great excitement to announce and reintroduce one of my BEST instructors at will take on and teach Trap Pilates virtually and in studio starting this Wednesday. The link will be posted prior to class and we will be updating the schedule so we all can get back in to the swing of things….. Even though life has me doing so many other things .. Trap Pilates has always and will always be apart of my happy things to do. It is fun, uplifting, challenging yet most importantly rewarding on so many levels. I have come to realize I can’t do it all and that is why I choose Stephanie to make it a daily part of our lives again. She has all the energy and drive to make y’all have that LOvE/Hate relationship we we all need 😍
Stephanie has been teaching for over 3 years and owns a beautiful studio in Columbus, GA. She is dedicated to stream live atleast 2 Trap Pilates classes per week, but also will be streaming Zumba, Step, and array of other classes. All the feels we all miss. We also will be putting together our training and Pop ups classes around in various locations and more. Are you ready????? Let’s all show Stephanie some love by welcoming her online in class on Wednesday!!! ♥️♥️♥️
