She HATED the curl pattern I chose. 😭😂

Her first install had a looser curl, but since then, she’d stopped using excessive heat. Her natural curls were healthier, tighter, and more defined, so I selected a tighter texture based on her updated photos.

She wasn’t convinced it would blend, so I drove all over Atlanta traffic searching for other options—and even spent an extra $250 on hair. 😩

But when I got back, her natural hair had fully dried…

AND IT WAS AN EXACT MATCH TO THE HAIR I’D ORIGINALLY SELECTED. 😭

This is why textured hair must be assessed dry. Wet hair can look temporarily elongated, making the curl pattern appear looser than it really is.

In the end, the blend was seamless, and she loved it. ❤️

The lesson? Trust your stylist’s expertise, but never be afraid to speak up. Communication and trust create the best results.

She flew from Syracuse, NY to Atlanta for K-Tips — but this install required a completely different approach. ✈️

After significant weight loss while using a GLP-1, she noticed something many women are experiencing: her hair had become considerably thinner, finer and drier, with increased shedding.

She flew in from Chicago for her Micro K-Tips ✈️🤎

But the goal wasn’t just a beautiful install — it was making sure we protected the integrity of her natural hair.

That’s why texture matching matters.

When your extensions actually complement your natural texture, you don’t have to constantly apply heat just to make your hair blend. Less unnecessary heat + less manipulation = a much better environment for maintaining healthy hair.
