Some days, this is the best you’ll get. A frumpy, grumpy, sweaty mess. Not really wanting to go to the gym, not really wanting to move your body, but the habit of it all keeps you going. The knowledge that on the other side of that workout, those 30 minutes (or 60 or 15 or 5!), you’ll be happy you pushed through the desire to skip the gym. Your body will be better for it, your mind will be better for it, and your outlook will be a bit brighter, knowing that you accomplished something and overcame doubt (even if it was self doubt all along).
So, know that everyone has those days. You’re not alone!! It’s about finding things that motivate you when you can’t motivate yourself! What’s something that motivates you??
