It consists of approximately 13,500 acres and 600 homes and cabins as well as the Ranch House, which contains a dining room, library, gift shop and 19 rental rooms. There are also 3 rental cabins and a campground with 125 sites. Located in Northern Lower Michigan, this club features some of the best hunting and fishing of the Up-north. for all their family to enjoy for the many years to come. The mission of Canada Creek Ranch Association is to preserve our hunting and fishing heritage and to provide a quality outdoor environment for those other recreational activities which are unique to its woods, waters, and wildlife; and to promote among its members an enduring fellowship working to preserve its properties, and friendly spirit for future generations. Each year, one of the more meaningful opportunities we have at Canada Creek Ranch is recognizing local students who have demonstrated hard work, character, and a commitment to their future through the Leo Drewett Scholarships.

These scholarships exist today because of the generosity and vision of Leo Drewett, a longtime member of Canada Creek Ranch who believed strongly in education, community involvement, and investing in future generations. While Leo passed away in 1997 at the age of 92, his impact continues to be felt each year through the students these scholarships help support. His legacy remains a reminder of how one person’s generosity can continue making a difference for decades to come.

On behalf of Canada Creek Ranch, I would like to congratulate this year’s scholarship recipients, Aiden Kaminske and Hannah Offerman. Both students have demonstrated dedication throughout their high school careers, and we are proud to recognize their accomplishments as they begin the next chapter of their lives.

Graduating from high school is an important milestone. It represents years of commitment, growth, perseverance, and support from family, teachers, mentors, and friends along the way. We recognize not only the academic achievement, but also the effort it takes to reach this point.

To Aiden, Hannah, and the entire graduating class, congratulations on this accomplishment. We wish you success in whatever path lies ahead and hope you continue to make a positive impact within your communities.

We would like to give a big shoutout to Member Jane Gordon for helping mold the lives of so many individuals over the years. Jane has been an instructor for CCR's Hunting Safety Course for many years. Thank you for doing what you do!

The Michigan DNR recently recognized Jane Gordon for more than four decades of service as a volunteer hunter safety education instructor.
