This annual race kicks off the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival and brings neighbors, families, and friends together to support Atlanta’s oldest city park. 🌳❤️

We want to take a moment to give one last thank you to every sponsor and volunteer for your contributions to our 24th annual Run for the Park 5K. The race and Summer Shade Festival wouldn’t be possible without the amazing local businesses, organizations, and neighbors who support this event year after year! 🫶

Every dollar and ounce of effort you put in goes back to Grant Park Conservancy to conserve and keep Grant Park vibrant. 🌳 We couldn’t do it without y’all. ❤️

That’s a wrap on Run for the Park 2026!!!

This year’s race brought out over 300 runners and walkers to benefit Grant Park Conservancy! 🌳❤️ We couldn’t have done it without our sponsors, volunteers, and neighborhood supporters whose contributions make this tradition possible year after year. 🏃‍♀️ Thank you for supporting the community and playing a role in keeping our park thriving!

The wait is almost over!! Tomorrow we hit the pavement for the Run for the Park 5K and roll right into the Summer Shade Festival to say goodbye to Summer! 🏃‍♀️🌳🏃‍♂️

Registration opens at 7am, followed by a guided stretch from Rene of .aerial at 7:30am. 🏁 We start running at 8am sharp, so don't be late! 🏃‍♂️💨

💥 Stay for your FREE popsicle from and the awards ceremony at 9am, hosted by Atlanta City Council Member .🏅

PLUS, is opening early for brunch, and giving out ice cold beer 🍻 to each runner wearing a bib. 🥶 offices will be open for cold AC, bathrooms, and refreshments all day long! Come say hi 👋

We’re pumped to kick off the festival with our 24th annual Run for the Park 5K and can’t get enough of this swag, designed by our friend and local artist Willem Keiser of !! 🥇 ICYMI - every runner gets a shiny medal and a t-shirt rocking this year’s design (PLUS a popsicle at the finish line from King of Pops and an ice cold beer from Dakota Blue). 🥵

Don’t forget, the Tot Trot is FREE for kids under 10, so bring the little ones out for their own big finish line moment. 🏃‍♂️💨 We’ll have youth shirts available for purchase on the day of the race.
