The hardest work I ever had to do was on myself. Healing my broken heart and picking up the pieces of my shattered life took a lot of time and self work. Taking full responsiibility of the part I played in the end of my marriage was difficult. But breaking free from playing the victim set me free and allowed me to forgive those that hurt me and move forward with my life.

I’ve learned that being alone isn’t something to fear. At first it felt unfamiliar, even uncomfortable, but over time I realized I’m actually OK in being alone with myself. I can sit in the quiet and not feel lonely, because I have never ever been alone. And that feels honest, peaceful, and enough. I am finally home.💕😇💕

Welcome to my journey through self-healing and divorce. After the end of a thirty year marriage, the loss of a joint business, family home, extended family and friends I was forced to move on with my life.

I was faced with figuring out my identity. Who was I now? What did I want for my life? What really mattered in my life NOW? How would I survive on my own? Would anyone ever want me again?

For thirty years I had been a business partner, wife, mother, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, mother, daughter, and sister. Of course I was still a mother, daughter, and a sister but the other roles that were so much a part of me had just vanished into thin air. Just like my marriage.
