When Mary J Blige team requested "Chenille patches like the varsity jacket Michael Jackson wore in the Thriller video" they didn't ask for "screen accurate", but why would you make them any other way? The fun part was really diving into the details, especially because this is NOT how I would have made it, if I was asked to design and make the original.
