Considering the problems Georgia has had with automobiles, how smart is this? ... But even so, why in the world would Georgia allow quarterback Carson Beck to do this ... And even so, a Lamborghini for a player who last season helped to what, an SEC East Championship before a loss in the SEC Title game again to Alabama? ... I don't think you even get rings for winning a division title ... I guess if Beck takes the Bulldogs to national title in 2024, he will be driving a ... Is there a car more expensive Lamborghini? ... The last time I looked head coach Kirby Smart was driving a Ford 150 truck ... At least Smart knows who to go to borrow a car when he wants to take his wife out for a nice evening ... When I was at Alabama from 1981-85, I remember Cornelius Bennett, one of the greatest college linebackers of our time, or one of the other defensive studs driving a ugly gold Mustang when Ford went through that horrible body change (thankfully the company mothballed it) ... Alabama may have paid for it but no one on campus was pointing at the car when it was being driven around ... Can you imagine the attention Beck gets in Athens when he drives his 'Lambo' down Mabry Street? ... Enjoy it now Carson because if I was the marketing guy at any school you are playing on the road this season, I would be trolling you on my stadium's big screen ... And if you lose a game or two, you may walk out of whatever you live in (I heard a 10-bedroom house with a moat around it with live dolphins) and see the words "For Sale'' spray painted across the side ... Like Nick Saban says, "All the things that I believed in for all these years, 50 years of coaching, no longer exist in college athletics" ... Have fun Carson ...
