🌲 Making Friends as an Adult Is Weirdly Hard. We Fixed That.
If you've ever moved to Georgia and realized your social life shrank to coworkers and a couple of old friends, or you've watched your friend group scatter over the years, or you're just tired of swiping through apps to find connection that never actually shows up in real life, you're not alone.
Georgia Hiking exists to fix that. Three groups, three age brackets, one mission: get outside, meet good people, build real friendships.
🥾 Georgia Hiking 20s & 30s for the post-college, new-to-the-city, burned-out-on-apps crowd.
🥾 Georgia Hiking 30s & 40s for the work-and-family-leaves-no-time-for-friends crowd, parents and non-parents both welcome.
🥾 Georgia Hiking 40+ for the my-friends-moved-away-and-I-want-to-rebuild crowd.
What we actually do:
🌄 Hike together across North Georgia and into nearby states
🏕️ Backpack, camp, paddle, kayak, and climb
☕ Hang out at breweries, wineries, coffee shops, and parks for low-key meet & greets
🤝 Members host their own events, which means there's always something happening, and a real person behind every hike
It's free. There's no app. No gatekeeping. No required gear list. Just a community of singles, couples, married folks, parents, and empty nesters who'd rather spend Saturday outside than scrolling.
Pick your group, join, and introduce yourself. The hardest part is the first hello. We'll take it from there. 🌿
