There's no generational curse only generational conditionings!
The phrase "breaking generational curse" became very popular during the pandemic ( or at least to me it seems like that was the case). Although I didn't fully subscribe to that ideology, it made sense to me. Until it came up in a conversation I was having with a friend and they asked what was this curse that everyone keeps talking about. Honestly, I did not have an answer at the time.
I began to have the same question as well and I couldn't really find any evidence of a curse.
See, if you actually sit down and start to break down all the "curses" you want to stop re-occurring in your family you'll soon realize that those are just conditionings. They are just behaviors modified to adjust and survive (even though deep down they don't fully believe in them). Our ancestors had to adjust to their circumstances and those beliefs were passed down through generations.
Oppressed? yes. Targeted? absolutely! but cursed? Never!
So next time instead of saying "generational curse" try saying "generational conditionings"
