At ADA, we offer recreational dance classes in Ballet, Creative, Jazz, Pom, and Tap. Each dancer is encouraged to progress at their own pace.

Studying ballet technique will progress other dance forms more quickly.

And just like that…Week 1 of Season 10 is DONE! 🌸🥹

We wrapped up our first week with ADA Crew competition team rehearsals, Pom, Hip Hop, and High School Technique — and these dancers brought the ENERGY!!! 🔥

There is just something so good about having the studio full again. Music playing, friends back together, lots of laughs, and dancers ready to work 💪🏼 Four nights, so many happy faces, and one VERY fun start to Season 10!

To every dancer who walked through our doors this week: we are so happy you’re here! 🌸✨

Day 3 of Season 10! 🌸

Wednesdays may be our shortest night at the studio, but they sure are a fun one!!

Our Mini Combo dancers tapped, twirled, and shook their poms 🩰✨, Intermediate Hip Hop brought the energy 🔥, and then the grown-ups took over for our year-round Pilates class!

And speaking of the grown-ups…👀

We’ve been having SO much fun with adult Pilates that we decided it’s time to add a little more…TWO new adult class options are coming to ADA in September! 🎉

More details coming soon…but let’s just say the studio isn’t only for the kids 😉

Day 2 of Season 10 🌸

Another night of happy dancers, seeing old friends, making new ones, trying new things, and LOTS of smiles!! It feels so good to have the studio full again 🥹🫶🏻

I say it all the time, but dance is about so much more than learning the steps. It’s confidence, friendships, getting out of your comfort zone, and finding a place you love to be. Judging by these smiles…I think we’re off to a pretty great start 😁

DAY ONE OF SEASON 10!!! 🌸🥹

And just like that…we’re back!! The music was on. The dance shoes were out. The studio was full of smiles, laughter, hugs, and a whole lot of fun!! 🩰✨

THIS is why we love the first week of dance…Seeing friends reunited; watching dancers walk back through those doors a little taller than last year; welcoming brand-new dancers into the studio for the very first time; and getting to watch another season of memories begin right in front of us 🫶🏻

Tonight was only Day 1, and Season 10 already feels pretty special 🌸

To our Monday dancers: you absolutely brought the energy. We are SO happy to have you back!!

And we get to do it all over again tomorrow!!! 💃

📰✨ EXTRA! EXTRA! ✨📰

What a night at Atkinson Dance Academy’s Season 9 spring recital!!

ADA dancers took the stage and told stories of growth, confidence, and expression. Dance is so much more than steps…it’s finding your voice without saying a word.

From our tiniest performers to our high school dancers, I couldn’t be more proud of the heart, courage, and joy that filled the stage last night.

A huge thank you to my incredible instructors, assistants, and behind-the-scenes team. I truly couldn’t do it without you!!! And thank you to our amazing dance families for your constant support 🫶🏻
