Rules and Regulations
1. Ear and eye protection are to be worn AT ALL TIMES while shooting.

2. It is recommended that members NOT use the ranges alone, but this is not required. The berm is off limits for targets as well.

3. No shooting on the outdoor range until after 10am on Sundays a

nd it closes at dusk. The outdoor range is open Monday through Saturday from dawn to dusk.

4. ALL MEMBERS and GUESTS must sign the sign- in sheet and pay the range fee BEFORE entering the indoor and outdoor range. The range fee is $1 for members and $3 for guests.

5. Members are responsible for their guests. Maximum of 3 guests allowed at a time!

6. Guest waivers must be completed and signed by the member and their guest(s) before participating and BEFORE entering any range. Minors must have a waiver completed by a parent or legal guardian BEFORE being allowed on the indoor and outdoor ranges. Waivers must be completed and signed ONLY ONCE per season.

7. Woodsman Rifle & Pistol Club Restricted Ammo Policy - NO JACKETED ammunition & NO HIGH VELOCITY centerfire ammunition exceeding 1500ft/second or MAGNUM loads will be used indoors. ONLY paper targets are to be used indoors. NO BLACK POWDER to be used indoors. INDOOR STATIONS 1-2 are .22 caliber ONLY. Stations 3- 10 all centerfires up to .45 ACP (automatic c**t pistol). No shotguns on the indoor range. No rifles OTHER THAN .22 caliber rimfire (short, long and long rifle ONLY) will be used indoors. Loads must be less than 50 BMG on the outdoor ranges. Explosive targets are prohibited. NO AUTOMATIC FI****MS are to be used on any of the ranges. Trap range- Shotgun only and lead-free birdshot only. Anyone using restricted ammo from this restricted ammo policy will lose their membership to the Woodsman Rifle & Pistol Club.

8. Indoor/Outdoor range fee and target money will be placed in their proper, labeled boxes.

9. OUTDOOR RANGE – Only paper targets are allowed to be brought in by members. We are providing target holders and steel targets for your use. There is to be NO SHOOTING ABOVE the target holders. The berm is in place to protect land and properties outside of our boundaries. ALL SHOTS must be aimed to the bottom of the berm and at the target holders only. Firing is to be done from under the covered roof and must be in line with the target holders. Diagonal shooting poses a great risk of projectiles skipping over the berm. Please line your aim up in as straight of line as is possible from the stations under the outdoor roof. ABSOLUTELY NO walking on any part of the berm. We must do our best to keep the height of the berm intact. Any walking on the berm, even at the bottom, causes the sand to collapse. STAY OFF the berm.

10. CAMERAS – Both audio and video recording has been installed on the indoor and outdoor ranges for the safety of everyone.

11. Members shall report any injuries and/or any damages immediately to an Officer of the Woodsman Rifle & Pistol Club Inc. Contact information for Officers is posted on the front door to the club.

12. ALL lights must be turned off and the building made secure when leaving the club. The HEAT is now on a timer and must be allowed to run out of time on its own. Do not turn the timer back towards off, as it will break the ceramic gears that control it. Thank you!

13. The range shall be kept CLEAN at all times. Brass and trash need to be placed in their proper containers. If you bring targets in for the outdoor range, you bring it out when you leave!

14. There is NO SMOKING indoors or in the indoor range. There is to be NO ALCOHOL allowed on any part of the premises at the Woodsman Rifle & Pistol Club, Inc.

15. Guns must be boxed or actions open in the clubhouse, or when not firing at the range.

16. ALL SHOOTERS will keep fi****ms pointed down-range at all times while on the firing line.

17. Keys are to be used by members only. Keys are NOT to be lent out to anyone.

18. All members are to contribute 3 hours of help to the club per season or opt to pay $45 in lieu of the 3 hours. Members can come for one of two clean-up days which will cover the service hours easily. We hold clean up days once in the fall and once in the spring.
