Another successful NEECA Triathlon is in the books. Many thanks to all our wonderful competitors, whether on foot, hoof or wheel, who braved the heat to show up this past Saturday for this very special event.

Thanks also to Sue Ellen Mowcomber and Kelly Knower for all the work they put into making this event happen. And we couldn't do it without all of our amazing volunteers.

A special shout out to our Triathlon sponsors: Brookside Equipment, EquidDoc Veterinary Services, GAAMHA, and Family Pet Vet. And we don't want to forget Quabbin Harvest for their donation of some much appreciated bananas!

The cyclists did 10K, the runners and equestrians each did 5K
The winning team was Millstone Oak's Believers with a total time of 1:28:51 (Caitlin Batchelder, Ron Pfister, Koryn Laughlin)

Second was Mamma DJ's (1:32:35) (Karin Eichelman, Sharon Kahl, Jennifer Benoit)

Third was Funny Farm (1:35:07) (Judy Chirico and Denise Leonard)

Individual awards for fastest times were:
Cyclist - Karin Eichelman (23:46)
Runner- Ron Pfister (29:45)
Equestrian- Koryn Laughlin on George (26:18)
