Today, January 6th, we celebrate Theofania (Phota) here in Greece—the Feast of the Epiphany. It is one of our oldest and most significant traditions, marking the "shining" or "enlightenment" of the world.

Across the islands, and right here in our beautiful Skiathos harbor, the "Blessing of the Waters" takes place. The priest throws a Holy Cross into the sea, and the bravest locals dive into the chilly January waters to retrieve it. Finding the cross is said to bring a full year of health and good luck!

Wishing you all "Kali Fotisi" (Enlightenment) and a very Happy New Year from our little paradise in the Sporades!

Happy New Year from the beautiful Island of Skiathos!

As we welcome 2026, we look back on the past year with immense gratitude.
It has been a landmark year for Seabirds Skiathos, marked by growth, ambition, and international reach:

1. Global Opportunities: We took a major step forward by sending our first players for professional trials in Portugal and Italy.

2. Expanding Our Network: Our reach now spans across Europe, building strong connections with clubs in Denmark, Sweden, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Portugal, and Italy.

3. Player Growth: We welcomed a new wave of highly motivated players to the family, all of whom have shown incredible dedication to improving their skills and fitness.

4. International Recognition: Our brand is traveling the world! We are proud to have sold over 200 shirts to visitors of our island, spreading the Seabirds spirit far beyond our shores.

Looking Ahead to 2026! The mission continues. Our primary goal for the coming year is to build a roster centered around local talent. We are committed to providing the youth of Skiathos with the athletic opportunities they need to prosper, grow, and dream big.

We know the journey is long, but we will not stop moving forward toward a brighter future for football on our island. Thank you for being part of our story.

Ελάτε μαζί μας σήμερα για μια μέρα γεμάτη ποδόσφαιρο, φαγητό και γιορτινή διάθεση! Ο Ποδοσφαιρικός Όμιλος Seabirds διοργανώνει το ετήσιο Χριστουγεννιάτικο Φεστιβάλ του και προσκαλούμε όλη την κοινότητα να έρθει, να εμψυχώσει τους παίκτες και να απολαύσει το πνεύμα των εορτών.
