Hailed as one of the best, if not THE best way to enjoy the outdoors in Athens, Georgia. The process is simple:
(1)Park
(2)Pay & sign waver
(3)Pick out a life jacket
(4)Put in Kayak-Tube at Big Dogs launch
(5)Take out downstream and take shuttle back
(6)Enjoy the Big Dogs On The River when you get back

The trip is 4.5 miles long and takes most folks about 2 hours to complete with light, intermitt

ent paddling on a kayak and ~3 hours floating on a tube. Shoals will vary which can create some fun white water or obstacles depending on the water level that day. Payment: Cash or Venmo

DO Bring: Small Cooler-Drinks-Water-Dry Bag-Sunscreen-Footwear-Towels

ABSOLUTELY NO: *STYROFOAM* or **GLASS**

Do not take valuable Items that can be ruined by water or lost on the river. AGAIN WE DO NOT allow STYROFOAM or GLASS so please keep that in mind when choosing coolers and drinks to bring. *NO LARGE COOLERS*
