Unfortunately this weekend was not what we had planned and hoped for - Waylon wrecked Moto 1 and hurt his leg pretty bad. He tried to tough it out through LCQ and Moto 2 but Dad knew it wasn’t the right choice to let him finish. They packed up and come on home. We spent hours in the Urgent Care getting scans yesterday. Nothing is broken thankfully just swollen and deeply bruised. He is able to bear weight without a hard limp this afternoon. He is sad and we are sad because he’s worked so hard just to go down hurt.

We are thankful however it’s nothing more serious and we trust in Gods plan always. What’s meant for us will be for us and what’s not is his will and way. Please continue to pray for Waylon and his leg as he continues to recover.

Thank you to everyone who has called, messaged and checked in on him to make sure he was okay! We are feeling all your love and support. 💙

Southeast Regional Qualifiers might be over but his journey on the bike is far from over and we will be back at Gatorback Cycle Park soon to get his revenge on the track! We are still incredibly proud of Waylon and the way he performed on the track prior to his injury. He was killing it out there and that’s all we ever ask is that he applies himself and gives it his all.

Bittersweet Victory today at Lazy River!

Moto 1 he got wiped out by another rider off the gate and ended up 7th place

Moto 2 he came back ready to fight and ended up 1st place.

He’s bringing home 3rd Place OA for a sweet very first podium at Lazy River! We will see you all at Gatorback in a few short weeks 🥳🤘🏼🏁
