Some teams win games. This team brought something much bigger back to our community.
After many years without a Triangle All-Star softball team, these girls brought our program back to life. They came together from both our Helix and Athena communities as teammates, and over the past few weeks became so much more than that. They built friendships, created memories, and formed bonds that will last a lifetime. They wore "Triangle" across their jerseys with pride and reminded us all what this community is capable of when we come together.
Last night, their incredible All-Star journey came to an end with a heartbreaking one-run loss to Pendleton in the final inning. It was an intense, back-and-forth game, and our girls never stopped believing. They answered every challenge, left everything they had on the field, and fought until the very last pitch.
Looking around the stands last night was something special. Our community showed up in full force, filling the ballpark with cheers, encouragement, and unwavering support. The love shown for these girls was a reminder that Triangle is more than just a league—it's a family.
To our players, thank you for inspiring the next generation of softball players and for giving our community a team to rally behind once again. To our coaches, thank you for the countless hours, patience, and dedication you poured into making this experience so memorable.
While the tournament may be over, this is only the beginning for this group. We can't wait to watch each of you continue to grow, compete, and accomplish amazing things in the years ahead.
Thank you for representing Triangle with heart, determination, and pride. We couldn't be more proud of every one of you.
