Some days—
it’s sadness.
A quiet kind
that lingers
in the background,
soft,
heavy,
unavoidable.
Some days—
it’s anger.
At the silence,
at the absence,
at the unfairness
of a world
that kept moving
without you.
And I feel it all—
the waves,
the shifts,
the weight
of emotions
that never quite
settle.
But beneath all of it—
there is something deeper.
Something that doesn’t fade
when the sadness quiets,
something that doesn’t leave
when the anger passes.
It’s the absence.
Not loud,
not sharp—
just… there.
In the empty spaces
you once filled,
in the moments
that should have included you,
in the life
that continues
without your presence
but never without you.
It’s in the way
everything feels
slightly different—
not broken,
not undone—
just changed.
Forever.
And that is what stays.
Not just the grief,
not just the emotions—
but the knowing
that a part of my world
is missing
in a way
nothing else can replace.
And still—
I carry on.
With a heart
that remembers,
with a love
that remains,
with a space
that belongs only to you.
Because even in your absence—
you are still
everywhere
within me. 🤍
