CMTracing CMTracing is page for my 9yr old son Cody M Terracciano. He drives a Storm chassis Quarter Midget race car in the Honda 120 & the Briggs Animal class.

Cody races at the BlackBird track in NewCastle De. We are members of the BlackBird Quarter Midget Race Club which is a USAC sanctioned club. Cody has been racing since he was 5 yrs old in the Junior Honda 120cc class.

So Cody is in upstate NY with Robbie an his mom. Robbie is in charge of maintaining the ski resort along with their go cart track. Cody made a bet with his friends that he would win the race. The BET was if he didn't win he had to kiss the track. Well guess what, he had to pay up!

Cody did amazing today. Started 6th in his heat. Raced up to 2nd place held his own for a lot of laps. He had one car knocking on his door for a long time. Got bumped and scrubbed off a lot of speed and was passed. Ended up at the rear raced his way back to 5th and almost made a pass for 4th in the last lap. Only a half a tire distance away from sealing 4th place. He managed to avoid the D-main and is starting 6th place in the C-main tomorrow morning. So proud if how he is handling himself in the SR class. Some of the more seasoned drivers even came up to him after his race to tell him how great he did. Love these kids. Love this sport and love my son! On to tomorrow!!!

Long hard day at the track today. Cody had his extra distance Sr Animal race. They do not run heats with this format. They run time trials. The fastest 6 drivers automatically go straight to the A-main. 6th place ran a 8.56 sec lap 7th place ran an 8.60 lap. Cody was the 7th place car... He missed going straight into the A-main by 04tenths of a second. So he started on the pole in the B-main. He was running pretty darn good. Was passed by the 2nd place car then was spun out. To the rear we go. Never made it back to a transfer spot and finished our day in the B-main. Super proud of how he handled the car today. Now it's time for some sleep.
