It’s been a busy summer for our directors; Dr. Sawyer was the Lead Drum Major Clinician for the Texoma Marching Arts and Leadership Academy, while Dr. Davoren served as Chief Adjuducator for the National Band Championships of New Zealand and Guest Conductor to the Colorado Brass Band. They have an exciting year planned on the marching field and in the concert hall, keep up with our BC Bands social media to learn all about it ❤️🖤

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome our new Graduate Assistant for 2023 Raven Regiment Marching band, Ms. Diana Loutsch! Originally from Le Mars, Iowa, Ms. Loutsch graduated from Benedictine College in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in music and theology. She has been an active participant in numerous ensembles in her music career such as concert band, marching band, jazz band, brass band, symphony orchestra, choir, madrigal ensembles, and musicals. Music awards include being selected for All-State honor band and earning accolades for solo and ensemble festivals. She served as a Catholic Youth and Young Adult Minister in Minnesota. Ms. Loutsch is excited to return to Benedictine College to work with the Raven Regiment Marching Band and complete her master’s in education. Diana will be working alongside our other wonderful returning Graduate Assistant, Elizabeth Berg!
Forward, always forward!

Raven Regiment Friends and Family, please help us give a warm welcome to our 2023 Drumline Instructor, Mr. Thomas Fabing! Go Ravens! ❤️🖤

Tom Fabing completed his Bachelors of Music in Percussion Performance degree from the University of Kansas where he studied with Dr. Sam Um. He is from Kansas City and performs in many groups in the Kansas City and Lawrence area such as the Kansas City Civic Orchestra, University of Kansas Wind Ensemble, and is currently a member of the 312th Army Reserve Band in Lawrence. Mr. Fabing is also an avid educator currently teaching percussion at Gardner Edgerton High School, private lessons, Midwest Music Camp at KU, and a variety of Masterclasses. Mr. Fabing is an active soloist recently performing at the University of Kansas Undergraduate Honors Recital and has won marimba competitions such as the Kansas Day of Percussion Marimba solo Competition. Previous teachers of Mr. Fabing includes Dr. Michael Compitello, Mr. Kevin Clark, and Mr. Keith Larson.

Raven Regiment friends and Family! ❤️🖤 We are officially launching our annual E-teams fundraiser today! This fundraiser helps operate our entire year for Raven Regiment. From new instruments to new music and uniforms, every dollar counts towards providing the BEST experience for our members! Our students serve as phenomenal ambassadors for the Athletic Program, school and Atchison community. Let’s share some love to them!

There is no prior marching band experience needed!

Join our Raven Regiment colorguard team as they develop dance skills along with making life-long friends within the Raven Regiment marching band community! Scholarship opportunities are available when you sign up with Raven Regiment!
