STMTC Jr shooter cleaned house at the 2026 CMP National Rifle Championships. At series of championships featuring Air Rifle, Smallbore 3-Position, and Smallbore Prone, Smallbore F-Class we had a team competing in the 6400 Prone championship. In this championship Hannah conquered her divisions whining the 6400 Agg for both her age division and the Marksman Classification. She even found herself a shot on the winning Junior team coached by STMTC High Master & Certified Instructor; Coach Cameron J Keating

2026 CMP Smallbore National Prone Championships update:

At the conclusion of the first 320 shots for record of the iron sight aggregate we have seen crossfires & misfires. We have experienced cease-fires, cancellations from wildfires. But out of the smoke of Phoenix arose to claim her prize. After months of perilous training under Coach Keating, none other than STMTC Junior, Hannah, came forth to claim her prize. So far Hannah has claimed; 1st Irons Marksman, 1st Sub Junior
& 1st Jr Team. Way to go Hannah and keep it up through part two, the Any Sight Championship begins now.

STMTC is seeking more Junior shooters interested in 3-Position & Prone smallbore shooting. For information on coaching contact Coach Keating or comment below.

What a great day to shoot smallbore! We had the perfect weather to simulate the environment we could expect at Camp Perry, OH. There was sun, wind, rain, crossfires, and Thunder. Fortunately, all individuals training today were able to packup before too much of that rain could ruin the targets. Class Winers today: Allen Won F-Class with a 789-35X, Top Juniors/High Woman was Hannah with a 788-32x, Sling was a close battle between those sporting Irons & those using Scopes. John won Match 1 with a solid 399-22x, but this was upset at the conclusion of Match 2 where Cameron took the lead, edging out Richard by only a single point.

Be sure to wish our marksmen good luck as several STMTC Members are headed to the CMP National Championships!

Next event is scheduled for August 8th
