We would like to express our sincere gratitude to former Friar and Ridley Park Police Officer Michael Hanly ‘15 for his bravery during a house fire on Wednesday. Officer Hanly instinctively saved 4 lives as a result of his heroism. He was released from the hospital and we wish him a speedy recovery. Words can not express how proud we are of you!

A firefighter since he was 16, now a Ridley Park officer, 21-year-old Michael Hanly says the first floor of the two-story apartment building was fully engulfed in flames.
