Ashwaubenon Youth Baseball, Inc

Ashwaubenon Youth Baseball, Inc Ashwaubenon Youth Baseball (AYB) is a volunteer organization co-sponsored by the Ashwaubenon Park & Recreation Department.

Our purpose is to expose Ashwaubenon Pre-K to High School youth players with high quality baseball experiences. AYB is a total volunteer organization run by a Board of Directors and co-sponsored by the Ashwaubenon Park & Recreation Department. AYB’s purpose is to help develop area youth with the highest quality play possible, as well as provide for the key elements of sportsmanship, team play, social values and fun. Family participation and involvement are key to providing a positive program so we expect it. AYB plays the majority of its games at our fully lighted baseball four-plex at Ashwaubomay Park.

What an amazing weekend for the second annual AYB 14u Wood Bat tournament! We started with some rain but finished very, very strong.

Congratulations to the Menasha Blue Jays who took home the rings and the trophy. Maybe more important, before the first pitch of the Saturday night home run derby, Menasha was presented with $8,310 raised by the five other teams and communities represented at the tournament that weekend. Not a dry eye in the house!

Thank you to all who volunteered, umpires, Troy (our amazing sound guy), and Tournament Director Brock; who helped make this a great and memorable event. Also a huge special thanks to families and community members from Bay Port, Seymour, Ripon, Kimberly, and Ashwaubenon for helping raise the proceeds and items donated to the Menasha Blue Jays.
