CM Gridiron | Volleyball Player Spotlight | Ryleigh Cothran | Ashville Bulldogs

Presented By: HER Recovery

Ryleigh Cothran is preparing for her senior season at Ashville High School, where she serves as the Bulldogs' setter. Coming off an outstanding junior campaign, Ryleigh has established herself as one of the top players in the area and will be a key leader for Ashville as the team looks ahead to the upcoming season.

Last season, Ryleigh earned All-County, All-Area, and All-State Honorable Mention honors following an impressive year on the court. She finished the season with 954 assists, 301 digs, 117 aces, 93 kills, and 39 blocks, showcasing her ability to impact the game in every phase. Her versatility, leadership, and playmaking ability were instrumental to the Bulldogs' success.

This summer, Ryleigh is focused on preparing for her final high school season by participating in team workouts, open gyms, play dates, and practices. She is committed to helping her teammates continue to improve while building the chemistry needed to compete at a high level throughout the season.

Ryleigh's hard work and accomplishments have also earned attention at the collegiate level. She received offers from Pearl River Community College, Gadsden State Community College, and Lurleen B. Wallace Community College. She has committed to continue her academic and volleyball career at Pearl River Community College beginning in 2027.

CM Gridiron wishes Ryleigh the best of luck during her senior season and looks forward to following her success with the Ashville Bulldogs and beyond.

CM Gridiron | Ashville Bulldogs Community

Presented By: H & H Printing

CM Gridiron is continuing to work toward growing support and followers from every school community across our coverage area, and today we want to spotlight the Ashville Bulldogs community.

We would love to continue expanding our coverage of Ashville athletes, teams, coaches, cheerleaders, band members, and programs throughout the school year. The more interaction and support we receive from a school community, the easier it becomes for us to recognize athletes and keep up with performances, accomplishments, and nominations.

CM Gridiron currently covers football, volleyball, flag football, cheerleaders, band members, coaches, teams, boys’ basketball, girls’ basketball, softball, and baseball. We are also considering adding soccer coverage in the future if enough support is shown from school communities.

Please help us spread the word throughout the Ashville community. Invite athletes, parents, students, coaches, and fans to come follow CM Gridiron so we can continue building coverage and recognition for Ashville athletics.
