The competition is heating up! After another incredible week of tennis, we’ve now played 110 matches this week alone — 57 doubles matches and 53 singles matches.

🎾 ACTL WEEKLY UPDATE 🎾

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and Sunday night’s doubles event was rained out. ☔

The good news? We have a HUGE week ahead for the Ashtabula County Tennis Ladder!

📅 Wednesday – 5:30 PM
🎾 Doubles Night
36 players competing in our popular 3-team format, battling for prizes and bragging rights!

📅 Friday – 5:30 PM
🔥 Battle of Bula Mixed Doubles
High School Ages & Up
12 men and 12 women will take the courts for a unique mixed doubles event. Players will rotate partners throughout the evening, competing in a round-robin format before the top performers battle it out in the championship round.

📅 Saturday – 8:45 AM
🏅 Singles Ladder Day
32 players competing in compass-style tournaments with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals on the line.

📅 Sunday – 5:30 PM
🎾 Team Doubles Night
36 players return to the courts for another exciting evening of team competition, prizes, and fun.

⏰ As always, please arrive 15 minutes early so we can get everyone checked in and started on time.

🎾 Another fantastic day for the Ashtabula County Tennis Ladder! 🎾

We had over 30 players competing in this morning’s singles competition, with some outstanding tennis played throughout the day.

🎾 11,000 MATCHES AND COUNTING! 🎾

What started as a simple idea in 2012 has grown into something truly special.

The Ashtabula County Tennis Ladder has now surpassed 11,000 matches played since its inception!

Over the years, hundreds of players have taken part in the ladder, ranging from beginners picking up a racquet for the first time to collegiate players competing at the next level. More importantly, countless friendships have been formed, skills have been developed, and a love for the game has been shared throughout our community.

🎾 Another Record Night for the Ashtabula County Tennis Ladder! 🎾

Allison’s Mini Golf brought out the best in our players tonight! The event was so popular that we had to move the action to Lakeside High School to take advantage of two additional courts.

A total of 46 players competed across all skill levels, creating another fun-filled night of tennis, competition, and great sportsmanship.

We have now reached 240 matches played in just the first part of the summer season, and the momentum continues to build. It’s exciting to see so many players getting on court, improving their games, and enjoying the sport.

A big thank you to Allison’s Mini Golf for sponsoring tonight’s event and supporting junior tennis in Ashtabula County!

🎾 Battle of Bula #1 is in the books! 🎾

Our first-ever Battle of Bula one-point singles tournament was a huge success as players battled through a winner-take-all format where every match came down to a single point.

Congratulations to both players for making it all the way to the finals and putting on a great show for everyone in attendance.

A huge thank you to for providing some awesome swag for the event. The players absolutely loved it, and it helped make the night even more special. We are grateful for the continued support of junior tennis and the Ashtabula County Tennis Ladder.

The energy was outstanding, the crowd was engaged, and this is definitely an event we’ll be bringing back this summer!
