This weekend was a great weekend at the track. We only raced on Saturday and decided not to risk the rain on Sunday. Madison had a first-round by, advancing her to the second round, while Justin was unfortunately eliminated in the first round.

At the end of the day, racing is about more than just winning it’s about the fun, the memories, and the friendships made along the way.

This weekend was a great start to the first race of the season for us. On Saturday, Madison made it to the semifinals with her new motor, moving her up to the 7.90 class, and hit a top speed of 80 mph. Meanwhile, Justin (driving Roger’s car) had to load up and head home to replace the torque converter, but we got it back to the track today.

Madison made her first run this morning and had a solid pass. In the second round, we realized she broke her crank support bolt. Her exact words were, “Are the other bolts tight? If they are, then we keep racing.” So she went ahead and made her pass, but ended up losing the support bearing making her car inconsistent making her loose 2nd round. justin also went out in the second round.

Overall, it was a great weekend for us!🏎️💨
