FREE FISHING WEEKEND - According to the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, North Dakota residents ages 16 and older who want to give fishing a try can do so for free on June 6 & 7 on any North Dakota water without a license. Residents age 15 and under do not need a fishing license at any time of year. Show us the fish you caught and tag the ND State Park you were visiting when you caught it.

Coldwater Park has one open permanent campsite for summer 2019. Site #4 on the south side of the park. $400 for the summer. Water, electricity-Yes. No sewer. Yes to showers and flush toilets.

Coldwater Lake will NOT be hosting an ice fishing tournament this year. Because Game & Fish feel that they need to take 75% of the proceeds, after we subtract the cost of printing posters and tickets we are not left with enough to make it worth while. Coldwater is a non-profit and we rely on the proceeds from the events we hold to do all the improvements we do to the park, the new shower/storm shelter building is an example. This year we will be having a Gun Raffle. Tickets are available now thru April 15th.
