CFS is offering a 6 week Strength & Conditioning program for athletes ages 12-16.

Participants do not need to be a CFS member.

We will cover three lifts over the course of six 90-minute sessions.
Weeks 1 and 2 will be dedicated to the deadlift. The deadlift is one of the most functional movements in CrossFit, building strength in the posterior chain and core with a simplicity that cannot be compared to any other movement.
In weeks 3 and 4 we will focus on the hang power clean. The hang power clean takes the positional pull out of the clean from the floor while still teaching body awareness and the ability to generate power and explode.
Finally, in weeks 5 and 6 we will concentrate on the back squat. The back squat typically allows an athlete to lift more weight than a front or overhead squat and builds strength in the hips, legs, as well as core.
The focus of every session will always be on form and mechanics and only once athletes are able to demonstrate a strong ability to move correctly will they add load. The goal of this program is to give athletes a foundational understanding of three different lifts and the skills that will translate to any other sport they play.
This is a 6-week program for $150. You must sign up for the entire 6-week session and we ask that athletes attend every session as they build on each other. Please email [email protected] or call 508-202-9922 if you have any questions.
