Here is a modified Jones LWB HD/e e-bike with the BBS02 Motor.
This e-bike is fitted with Jones fenders, 39x3" WTB ranger tires and a kick stand.

After making improvements to motor cooling, I tested my experimental/research and development, electric motorcycle bicycle by riding up the mountain to see if I can go faster than before.

I built this bike with a Jones LWB HD/e, 4130 Chromoly steel hardtail frame, and a Jones titanium Truss rigid fork. I added 12v LED headlights, tail lights, brake lights, license plate lights, turn signals, a horn, and two USB charging ports. It also has rear-view mirrors, full fenders, and a kickstand. The brakes are Magura 4-piston calipers with 220mm rotors. The handlebar is a Jones Loop H-Bar® with 2.5” of rise. Wheels built with Jones 56mm wide carbon rims.

New Jones e-bike video!

The 2021 Oregon Trail Gravel Grinder was a 5-day gravel bike stage race near Bend Oregon. It covered 326 miles, climbed 28,000 ft, and had around 20 hours of riding. All during a record heat wave.

When I found out that this ride had an e-bike category, I thought it would be a good test for my bike and a fun ride! It turned out that I was the only one who entered the e-bike category.

New Jones fenders!

A few years ago the fenders we had been using on our bikes stopped being produced. We looked but never found a good replacement for them. I had a set on my bike but wanted more and we continued to receive many requests for them. We are happy to announce that we bought the tooling and molds for the fenders and are having them made by the same fabrication company in the USA that made them before.

We do not currently have complete Jones fender kits, sets or installation instructions, but we do have fender blanks and some of the original fender stays in stock now. We plan on offering complete fender sets that will be ready to install on your Jones bike.

Fenders available in 2 lengths for the front and rear and 3 widths; ~3.8”/95 mm, ~4.2”/105 mm, ~4.8”/123 mm
These fenders are perfect for 29 Plus / 29” x 3”, 27.5 Plus / 27.5" x 3” and fat bikes!

The fender stays come in 2 styles, the Basic Fender Stays (15" & 16") and the Adjustable Fender Stays.
