💜 Instructor Spotlight 💜

Meet Brooke!

We are so excited to welcome Brooke back to the Ashland School of Dance family!

Brooke brings a wealth of teaching experience to ASOD. Most recently, she taught at DDH Dance Academy, where she worked with a Junior Jazz Competition Team and a Senior Contemporary Competition Team. In addition, she taught four Modern/Contemporary classes and two Hip Hop classes, sharing her passion for dance with students of all ages and skill levels.

Outside of the studio, Brooke recently graduated from State College of Beauty Culture and is now a licensed Esthetician in Wisconsin. She plans to continue her education by pursuing an Associate Degree in Nursing, with the goal of specializing in advanced esthetic services such as Botox, fillers, and laser treatments.

This fall/winter, Brooke hopes to open her own esthetics business in Ashland, offering services including waxing, facials, lash and brow treatments, and eventually specializing in acne care.

Brooke is thrilled to be back at Ashland School of Dance and to have the opportunity to move back home. She is excited to share her love of dance, creativity, and experience with the next generation of dancers.

Happy Birthday to Gabe!

The one behind the music at our performances, making sure every routine starts and ends right on cue. The one spending countless hours sitting at competition venues, cheering on our dancers all weekend long. The one always willing to jump in wherever needed - helping with set up, clean up, driving the parade vehicles, and doing so many of the behind the scenes jobs that often go unnoticed.

Competition weekends, dance performances, rehearsals, recitals - Gabe is always there supporting our studio and our dancers with a smile, patience, and willingness to help however he can.

We are thankful for all the time, energy, and support he gives to our dance studio. Today we hope you feel celebrated and appreciated for everything you do!

💜 Instructor Spotlight 💜

Meet Ally

Ally began dancing at age 7 with Just for Kicks before continuing her training at Sterling Silver Studio in Superior, where she too jazz and lyrical classes and competed on their competition team. During college, she was also a member of the University of Wisconsin–Superior cheerleading and dance teams and helped with choreography.

Ally has experience in lyrical, contemporary, jazz, pom, and ballet, and has been part of the ASOD teaching staff since 2015.

Outside of the studio, Ally is a proud mom of three girls - Lennan, Aili, and Natalie. She and her husband live in Superior, and she works as a medical assistant at Twin Ports Dermatology in Duluth.

Her favorite part of teaching is watching dancers grow in both confidence and ability while developing their own unique dance styles and language over the years.

We’re so thankful to have Ally sharing her passion and experience with our dancers each season! 💜
