How did the godfather of the college game create a championship culture year in and year out?

Through 4 simple rules to live by:

1. Do What's Right

"The strength of the team depends on the strength of the relationships. Egos must be checked. Sacrifices must be made. Goals must be shared. Doing what's right for the team must be the priority."

2. Do Your Best

"The important thing is that you do your best, learn from winning and losing, strive to get better, and be a true friend to your teammates and, most of all, to yourself."

3. Get Better

"We will strive for perfection, but you will fail. When you fail, recognize the message that's in that failure and be motivated to get better. And then do your best again and again until you find the solution."

4. Have Fun

"We're always telling them to play the game like they're 10-year-olds in the backyard. You have to love it, embrace it, enjoy it."
