The Lady Spartan Soccer team lost a tough 3-2 decision at Southern Columbia. Mylee Bindie scored on an assist from Ella Digris, and Mia McDonald scored on an assist from Abby Smith.
Addy Balicki stopped 14 shots in goal, and Penelope Bereskie had 4 saves.
The JV team lost a 3-1 decision today. Savannah Farrone scored for NS. Claire Snyder had 8 saves in goal.
NS plays at Marian Catholic on Monday (varsity only) at 5:30 pm.

North Schuylkill Cross Country competed at the Centaur invitational today at DeSales University.

For the lady Spartans
Genevieve Dando finished 2nd overall in a time of 19:49
Tatiana Salefski came in 131 in 27:30 and Keira Blozousky came in 165 in 34:21

For the Spartan boys
Owen Mentzer came in 57th in 18:47
Cameron Jones finished 74th in 19:22
Joey Tokarczyk came in 100th in 20:10
Preston Lex finished 109 in 20:24
And Brendan Fetterolf came in 168 in 22:37
Boys finished 18th out of 28 schools competing

The Boys Soccer team defeated Southern Columbia this morning, 3-1. Jaxon Sweeney, Wesley Urban, and Brenden Yotko scored goals for the Spartans, who travel to Jim Thorpe on Monday afternoon.
