Are you ready for Big Al's 47th Annual Tennis Tournament? We are so excited to be able to host this tournament again this year July 8 - 10, 2022.

The tournament this year is dedicated to Kent Cohee, a longtime local tennis enthusiast.

We have some exciting changes for this year:

Every player will receive a complimentary t-shirt (make sure to include your size when you register).
There will be a minimum 3k prize money event for Open men's and women's singles division - you'll get to watch some top level players in action.
Food and snacks will be available on site
The tournament will be operated through the UTR platform (no longer USTA). If you have not played a UTR tournament yet, you will need to create a player profile before registering.

Join us on Saturday, March 5th from 9am to 11am at the Hunter Park tennis courts to take part in a park clean up!

Since 2012 Ashland Tennis and Fitness has adopted Hunter Park as part of the Adopt-a-Park program with Ashland Parks and Recreation Commission. The Adopt-a-Park program asks individuals, local businesses and groups to support APRC's pesticide-free policy by supplementing existing park maintenance with a few "work parties" a year where volunteers w**d, lay down bark, pick up litter and remove invasive species. Adopt-a-Park work parties are a great way to give back, spend time together as a group and have fun.

Beautiful parks require a little dirty work, especially parks that don't use pesticides!

Big Al’s Tournament
An annual July tradition of great tennis in beautiful Ashland, Oregon. For over 45 years tennis players from all over the West Coast play at the annual Big Al’s Tennis Tournament.

ATFC participates in "RecycleBalls," an innovative 501(c)3 nonprofit that began in 2017. The Vermont based company has partnered with Wilson Sporting Goods Co. to pioneer an effort to collect/recycle/reuse 20 million balls 🎾 in the U.S. over the next three years. Its mission is to recycle/and reuse every tennis ball in the United States.
These recycle bins are now located on the tennis courts for your convenience.
