Hey racers did ya get everything you were hoping for for Christmas? Pedals? Maybe some new gloves? Hmmm, anything else you were hoping for? Oh, the NOMBS series schedule? Well, we DO want our racers to have a very merry Christmas, so here you go!

~May 7th, Vultures K**b, rain date May 14th
~June 18th, Thorn MTB, presented by Oberlin Bike Shop, rain date June 25th.
~July 9th, ### ###XX ###X, presented by Shenanigans Cycling, rain date July 16th
~August 6th, Camp Manatoc, Presented by Summit Freewheelers Junior/U25 Cycling , rain or shine!
~August 26th, McLain Farm Adventure Race
~September 3rd, back to The K**b for the series championship!

Waves and categories coming soon, and all events will be on BikeReg. We do have a few more tidbits of information coming that will get you even more excited, but we need to build just a little more suspense ya know.

We are looking forward to seeing you on the start line in 2023 for our first season of the series that is !!!

What is NOMBS? Simple, we are riders just like you. Our goal is to provide a top notch XC race series for riders in Northern Ohio and surrounding areas, and give back to the riding community. This series is founded on a few guiding principles:

1. We are run by riders. All the NOMBS races are put on by local trail stewards, teams, and bike shops. Riders and trail enthusiasts like you.

2. Treat the riders as customers. No race series can survive without racers/customers. When we say we are treating you as customers, our goal is to provide value for your race fees. Great courses, welcoming community, and a post race party atmosphere. From the elite experts to the youngest youth racers we want you to have a great experience.

3. Family friendly, and foster the next generation of racers. Racing bikes in a grassroots series provides unique opportunities for youth to be on the same course with the experts they look up to. Youth will always race with the lowest entry fee we can offer.

4. Give back. NOMBS is designed to be a non profit coalition of teams and trail stewards, and the money from the series will go directly to supporting youth cycling and trail maintenance. Your dollars go back into the dirt we ride.

There's more, in the coming weeks we will announce race dates and venues. Those core principles will guide this series, and we are working hard to build a series you will love. We hope to see you on the start line in 2023.
