C. A. Equestrian C. A. E. is an equestrian training program focusing on producing equine athletes and riders.

A little about myself:
I have been an event rider since my first lesson at age 8. Getting my start through the United States Pony Club, I have a strong background in horse management and a "horse comes first" outlook. With wins at every level along the way, I have my sights set on progressing my own personal skills and moving up to the advanced level of the sport. I hope to continue successfully training young horses and teaching students of all ages about this sport that has captured my heart.

WE’RE HIRING!
We have a few openings at Stony River Farm and at CAE 💚🖤
Stony River Farm - barn employee
• Duties: feeding am and pm grain, hay, water, turn in/ turnout, blanketing, stall cleaning. This job includes lifting 50lb grain bags and some minor work with tools, maybe fixing fencing or using a trimmer (weedeater).
Requirements: drivers license and some prior horse experience.
• Time: a full day is 8-5:30 with an hour 12-1pm for lunch
• Pay: $11/ hr for training and $14/ hr starting pay
• Days: flexible, but Monday, Tuesday Thursday would fill our opening!
Our wonderful .m.eventing will be headed to college this fall so we would love to work on filling her shoes sooner rather than later since that will be so tough to do!

CAE - working student
I do have need of some help Wednesdays and Fridays!
• Duties: grooming, tacking, bathing, jump crew
Requirements: drivers license, years of prior horse experience any discipline, show experience would be awesome.
• Time: 8-5:00pm with an hour for lunch at some point around noon
• Pay: 1 free ($80) lesson each day training pay, free show coaching or other package options to equal $120 per day compensation once training is complete.
• Days: Wednesdays and/or Fridays.
There’s the possibility for riding for the right candidate but we would need to get to know each other first. We do not have lesson horses - lessons would be on your personal horse. Our horses are all in training and thus we are always teaching them something.

Private sessions are $125
Group lessons are $90

Group lessons will have more time allotted, and will max at 4 riders of equal skill level. We have openings in a few groups:
Intro to jumping (baby horse)
2’-2’3” group
2’3”-2’7” group
2’7”-2’11” group

• This session will be on English bits and equipment.
We’ll talk about so many different shapes, how they work in the horse’s mouth, and what each tool is good for teaching the horse.

LJ is top prospect for eventing, but would also suite a pure show jumping future. I expect her to finish above 17 hands as she sticks now at 16.0 hands.
She is refined, modern, and the stallion added length of leg that will lend to a gorgeous gallop as she develops. She is very kind, gentle, inquisitive, and quick to learn. She leads, loads in a trailer, stands to be hosed, lunges in tack, and stands for the farrier. LJ is up to date on all vaccines and Coggins and has no mare-ish behavior. She will make a lovely sport horse. Show home only.
