We’re home from an unforgettable week at Nike Smoky Mountain Running Camp at UNC Asheville, and our hearts are full.

Because of the generosity of our community, six Pocomoke High School Cross Country athletes were given an opportunity they’ll never forget.

This week was about so much more than running. Our athletes learned from NCAA and Olympic athletes, coaches, and nutrition experts, pushed themselves through challenging workouts and mountain runs, built new friendships, and discovered they’re capable of far more than they ever imagined. They came home stronger, more confident, and excited for the season ahead.

None of this would have been possible without the people who believed in them first.

To our sponsors, donors, and everyone who supported our fundraisers or encouraged these runners along the way—thank you. You didn’t just help send six athletes to camp; you invested in their growth, their confidence, and their future.

We are proud of you Rylan!!! 💙💛

Congratulations are in order for Rylan George, who was honored by the Worcester County Board of Education for his impressive indoor track season. His notable achievements include securing two Bayside Championship titles in the 1600 and 3200 meter events with school-record performances and winning Pocomoke High School's inaugural Indoor Track Bayside Championship. Way to go Rylan! 👟
