Ryan had a blast this morning at First Baptist Hendersonville VBS!!!

Ryan did some 3 ball dribbling and then spun a ball on a whistle, nail, key and phone to illustrate the Gospel!!!

It was a fun tine with a ton of kids in the house 👊🏼

Today Ryan went to Hickory High School to be a part of Basketball Camp and did some drills with the athletes, then shared The Gospel!

Praise God, there were around 42 professions of faith!

Exciting for Ryan to be back at Hickory High School. For a few years Crossfire held several ACC All Star Basketball Games there. Back in the day, 2002, Kris Lang of the North Carolina Tarheels played in both games at Hickory High and the Asheville Civic Center. Kris Lang also made a committed to Christ at the game in Hickory that year ! Sweet memories !

This past weekend Lyn Milner was in a new venue and city where he had never had the opportunity to umpire and it turned out to be a special day of sharing.

Lyn spoke to four teams in the 14Un division, the coaches and many parents surrounded the fence line. Lyn shared with the group what changes when a person accepts Jesus Christ by using a baseball glove and a baseball as a visual. By themselves the glove and ball are useless until a player puts the glove on and picks up the ball. That glove and ball now has a purpose.

Once you choose to follow Jesus your life now has purpose. Lyn then asked a player, Carson to assist him and it turned out that Carson’s Dad is a pastor. It was great to have Carson close out the time in prayer.

After the time together a player came up to Lyn and they talked about some things. Lyn asked him if he could pray for him and he said, “Yes.”

The kids of today are facing so many challenges for their age therefore they need all the encouragement we can give them. It took courage for this youngster to come up to Lyn, an umpire, and ask for prayer. Then later in the day another player came up to Lyn and gave him a mini Jesus then thanked Lyn for sharing!

These kids are hungry for something real so it’s important to “Share as we Go.”

Thank you Lyn for committing your time to umpire AND share the gospel with so many ball players.

Let’s all agree to keep praying for the next generation!

Today Ryan went to First Church of the Nazarene in Statesville and shared a sermon the Lord placed on his heart. Ryan also spun a basketball and shared his testimony.

Ryan and all of the Crossfire team are always thankful for opportunities to share about Jesus Christ !

We also appreciate each of you who pray for us and support the ministry !

Today Ryan went to Forest City, NC to Missionary Wesleyan Church for the Cruise for Christ Car Show!

Ryan made his way around the event and spun his basketball while sharing about Jesus!

Please pray for the seeds that were planted.

Today Ryan went to Lenoir, NC and went soul winning with Pastor Joel Bixler from Temple Baptist Church. They knocked on doors and also went and shared at a recreational gym!

Praise the Lord there were 10 professions of faith in Jesus!

Crossfire Time of Prayer
Thursday June 4, 2026

Today at 3:30 PM @ the home of Jamie’s parents (Dr. & Mrs James H Johnson), where Jamie and his two sisters Rebekah and Karen grew up, a special time of prayer took place !

Pastor Stacey Harris of Trinity of Fairview along with former Crossfire secretary, Lisa Jackson, Crossfire camp coach
Kathy Marlowe, Mike Jameson, Carol Cassio,
Colby Wilson and Eli Tilley each came to pray over Karen.

Others who were unable to attend in person but prayed as well were
Bette Kitt, Yvonne King,
Beth Nelson (Trinity of Fairview secretary)
Wilma Fite and Janeen Kendall.

It was such a special time of prayer. Everyone had such a sweet spirit and all were in agreement regarding praying and agreeing for total healing for Karen !

We want to thank those who came to the house to pray today as well as hundreds of you who have been praying for Karen. Many of you left wonderful prayers and comments here in Facebook of which were read to Karen 🩵! She loved hearing all of the sweet words that were posted !

Please continue to pray and ask for God’s hand to move and for Karen to be completely restored to 100% health !

Today Ryan went to a basketball workout at Starmount High School with the team. Ryan did a free 30 minutes training session with 23 players and then shared the Gospel with the team!

Praise God there were 2 professions of faith!
