After much thought and consideration, we’re sharing the news that Axeville will be closing its doors, with our final day of throwing on Sunday, March 22nd. This was not an easy decision, but it feels like the right time to write the final chapter of our incredible eight-year story.

From our challenging beginnings in 2018—doing everything we could to open our doors despite countless obstacles—to finally welcoming our first guests in early 2019, Axeville became so much more than axe throwing. It was birthdays and first dates, anniversaries and team building, holiday parties, stress relief, and countless unforgettable moments. Our seasonal league members became friends and family, and we cherish every opportunity we had to celebrate alongside you. Getting to know the amazing people in our community, as well as the many travelers who made Axeville part of their plans, has truly been the highlight of this journey.

If you’ve ever thrown with us—or always meant to—we’d love to see you one last time. Come throw some axes, share a laugh, and help us close this chapter the right way. Or stop by during business hours just to say hello, grab a beer, and reminisce about your favorite memories at the club.

All existing reservations and private events through March 22nd will be honored. Reach out if you want to book one last party or group outing with us. We can’t wait to make a few more memories with you before we close.

All gift cards and gift certificates will also be honored through Sunday, March 22nd. If you have one, now’s the time to use it—we’re happy to help you book. If you’re unable to come in to throw, gift cards may also be used toward Axeville swag while supplies last.

Thank you, Asheville, for your love, support, and an unforgettable eight years. We’ll always be proud of what we built here together, and we’ll carry these memories with us as we head into our next adventure. 🖤🪓
