Asheville Fencing Academy With Fencing, you learn self-discipline and ritual that is based on hundreds of years of history. You will work your body and your mind.

Asheville Fencing Academy offers Foil, Saber and Epee under the direction of Giles Collard. Giles is a certified teacher through the United States Fencing Association (USFA) Olympic Training Center's College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Giles received teacher training from US Olympic coaches: Alex Beguinet, Ron Miller, Richard Edwards, Bernie Segal, Vincent (Vinnie) Bradford and Michael Marx. Classes are offered weekly for all levels - children started at 8 years of age up to adults. Fencing is a fun, athletic and intellectual sport with swords - the Foil, the Epee and the Saber. It is adventurous and great exercise. You will work your body and your mind as well as challenging yourself.
