It’s written in crayon.
This is a motto I got from my husband, and I love it!
We took a road trip, and my husband was in charge of planning the destinations we were going to visit.
We got so lost and so off track.
I asked him, “Did you even write this??”
And he said, “Liz, I wrote this in crayon.”
When you write down your life goals and plans, are you writing in permanent marker and get frustrated when you have to scribble things out?
Does it make you want to give up?
Instead, pick up a crayon and shift your perspective.
You can rewrite, you can color over your plans, and you can adjust.
I’m not saying that plans are useless - create something so that it moves you and so that you’re not stuck, but allow for it to change because it will.
Whatever you plan, it’s going to look different than your actual vision.
But guess what…
The reality could be better, and most times it is if you surrender.
How are you writing out your plans for the rest of 2022? Are you giving yourself space to color with crayon?
