Yoga for Q***r and BIPOC Bodies starts October 8!

We are so excited to launch this 6-week yoga series for q***r and BIPOC folks led by
Ritu Goswamy!

This 6-week yoga series is designed as an alternative to practicing in a yoga studio environment. These classes will provide space for those with BIPOC and Q***r bodies to regulate your nervous systems and connect to your own body in a wildly supportive community. Whether you have never done yoga or are an experienced yogi, we welcome and celebrate you. Emphasis will be on liberating themes, inspiring sequences, playful poses, and radical rest.

Ritu (they/them) has been practicing yoga for 25+ years and first started teaching in 2013. Ritu’s devotion to yoga nourishes their body, opens their heart, and delights their soul. They believe yoga can heal both the individual and the collective. They are committed to making yoga more accessible for all bodies in a way that is uplifting, playful, and supportive. Ritu is currently a full-time student studying to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner. They can also be found playing and performing comedy improv around town.

Tiered pricing available: $30/$84/$168. Choose the price that best aligns with your budget. Use discount code YQBB84 to pay 84 or YQBB30 for pay $30.

Join Annie Barnes, DPT for this in-depth talk and conversation about pelvic health during/after perimenopause. Annie is a physical therapist with Anti-Fragile and has special expertise and training in pelvic health, orthopedic physical therapy, and pregnancy/postpartum corrective exercise.

As estrogen declines through perimenopause and beyond, the pelvic floor changes too, often leading to symptoms like leakage, pressure, pain, or discomfort that many women assume they just have to live with. They don’t.

This workshop offers a clear, judgment-free look at what’s actually happening in the body during this transition, and practical strategies to support pelvic floor strength, bladder control, and comfort. We’ll cover common symptoms and why they happen, the role of hormones in pelvic tissue health, simple exercises and lifestyle approaches that help, and when it’s worth talking to a specialist.

Suggested donation $20: https://give.everymothercounts.org/fundraiser/7241904
(not a requirement for attendance)
This workshop is presented as part of a fundraiser. Annie is raising money for Evry Mother Counts.

A big congrats to Carrie Ducker, our amazing client who just won her age group at the 2026 Asheville Gran Fondo 50 mile race! Carrie attributes her focus on strength training as a big contributing factor in this victory!

Our clients come to us for all sorts of reason. Building strength like Carrie can help you win whatever race you are facing. Maybe it’s being able to bring the groceries in by yourself. Maybe you want to be able to play with your grandkids. Maybe you just want to get out of bed in the morning and not hurt. Or maybe you want to win cycling races!

Whatever your why, we got you.

Congrats, Carrie!
