Time moves differently in the mountains.
Especially when you go inside the clock.
A quick trip through Grandfather (Clock) Mountain — Hole #9 at Blue Ridge Putt-Way.
Things get a little strange in there.

Hey everyone, we apologize if we have not been updating our status as frequently as perhaps necessary. We have been working hard all Summer trying to get open but we still have some hurdles to maneuver before getting the green light from the permitting office and as a result we are not able to provide a clear and definitive opening date. However, we are getting close! Please know we will announce it from the mountaintops soon as we are able. Until then stay tuned. We are as eager as you are!

But this isn’t just another waterwheel.
Take a ride around Hole #8 and you’ll discover one of the creatures hiding along the Blue Ridge Putt-Way — an Eastern Hellbender lurking beneath the surface.
How many other surprises do you think we’ve hidden around the course?

A good drive reveals a hole-in-one.
Driving the Linn Cove Viaduct is one of the most unforgettable experiences on the Blue Ridge Parkway—the road seems to float along the side of Grandfather Mountain, following the landscape instead of fighting it.
At Blue Ridge Putt-Way, we gave "driving the Viaduct" a slightly different meaning.
Send your ball across the bridge, follow the curve and see where the road takes you.
Sometimes a really good drive leads exactly where you hoped it would.

Four directions. Endless inspiration.
From the summit of Mount Mitchell, look east, west, north or south and the Blue Ridge mountains seem to stretch forever.
At 6,684 feet, the highest point east of the Mississippi offers something different in every direction—layer after layer of mountains disappearing into the horizon. Thousands of trees blend together into sweeping textures of green, eventually fading into the blues and purples of the distant mountains.
That feeling of standing above it all became the inspiration for Hole #3 – Mount Mitchell at Blue Ridge Putt-Way.
Our artists took those tree-covered slopes and reimagined them with light, color and a little imagination—bringing the view from the top of the mountain inside.

Tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Roaring Fork Falls has been shaped by countless years of rushing water, carving its way through ancient stone one season at a time.

That timeless beauty inspired Hole #1 at Blue Ridge Putt-Way.

From the first sketches to the final glowing details, our artists set out to capture more than a waterfall—they wanted to recreate the feeling of standing beside one.

Nature provided the inspiration.

Creativity brought it to life.

Did You Know?

The Eastern Hellbender is North America’s largest salamander—and one of the clearest signs of a healthy mountain stream. Because they can only survive in clean, oxygen-rich water, seeing a Hellbender is a reminder that the Blue Ridge is home to some of the most remarkable ecosystems in the country.

That incredible creature inspired Hole #6 – Hellbender Trail.

As you make your way through the glowing forest, keep your eyes open… you never know what you might discover.

Have you ever seen a Hellbender in the wild?

Look up tonight.
As the full moon rises over the Blue Ridge Mountains, the forests begin to feel a little different. The light softens, the shadows grow deeper, and familiar trails suddenly feel filled with wonder.
That feeling inspired Hole #5 – Into the Woods at Blue Ridge Putt-Way.
We wanted to capture the quiet magic of a moonlit walk beneath the forest canopy—a place where imagination takes over and every step invites you a little deeper into the woods.
Nature inspired it.
Our artists brought it to life.
