⭐️ Please only park in Jus’ Running’s parking lot, parallel street parking in the surrounding neighborhood, or Weaver Park and walking over. The lot to the left of the store is not Jus’ Running’s and several businesses utilize it.

As we approach race day, here's a few notes on the course to keep in mind!

Course:
A few roads near the Start and Finish will be completely closed to traffic, though all other roads will be open to traffic. Because of this runners should be aware of oncoming vehicles. There will be course marshals on the course to direct traffic and will do the best to make sure that participants stay safe and that vehicles do no interfere with race participants. The course will be well marked as well.

Cutoff Reminder:
Runners must leave Aid Station #2 (top of Patton Mountain Road - Mile Marker ~5) by 100 minutes into the race (9:40AM assuming the race starts promptly at 8:00AM). This means that runners must average a pace of at least 3 miles per hour, which is a fast walk.

Aid Stations:
There will be three aid stations on the course: Mile 2.3, Mile 5, and Mile 7.6.

All Aid Stations will have water. There will be additional food and beverages at the Finish such as oranges, cookies, bread items, and more.

This is not a cup-less race though runners are encouraged to bring their own bottles/drinking vessels to help us reduce our impact on the environment. No littering will be tolerated on the course. The race director has the right to disqualify a participant if they are caught littering on the course.

It's RACE WEEK! We are looking forward to seeing you later this week but in case you missed it... we have an amazing post-race Finish Zone planned for you and did we mention the awards this year?

FINISH ZONE:
Be sure to hang out after your run to party with us at the Finish Zone. All our food and drink options are included with your registration! Assorted Foods include Subway sandwiches and Duck Donuts! We will also have fruit, water, and several other vendors setup at the finish.

We are less than 9 DAYS out from the Flying Squirrel Ten Miler! Here's some important details for race week:

▪️Online registration closes at 11:59pm on Thursday, June 4!

▪️In-person registration will be available at Early Packet Pickup and Race Day Packet Pickup.

▪️EARLY PACKET PICKUP: Friday, June 5 from 2PM - 6PM at Jus' Running located at 523 Merrimon Ave. Asheville, NC. We STRONGLY encourage you to pickup your packet then. Packets will NOT be available earlier than 2PM.

▪️RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP: Saturday, June 6 from 6:30AM - 7:45AM at the start line located at 55 Orange St. Asheville, NC. The race starts promptly at 8AM.
