We got an email review of one of our custom framebags from Pierce H. We love hearing about and seeing trip photos from you all. This is why we do what we do. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

“I wanted to reach out about a full frame bag I got and share how great your gear is. I recently completed a 8 day (567 mi. 41k’) tour across Colorado from Fort Collins to Durango. For the tour I ordered a custom full frame bag which made the trip infinitely better. Packing each day was easy, my gear felt protected when bush whacking and waking up to Magpies investigating my bike, water resistant to Colorado Monsoons and it looks great to boot. I can’t say enough about how good the bag is and am sure it will continue to shine on future tours.

Turns out the bag is also decently comfortable on the back when carrying the bike as a backpack to cross through National Park trails! “

True to its name TNGA was an absolute adventure. Incredibly beautiful, wild weather, and with so many highs and lows through out the ride for me. Easily the highlight of my year and so grateful I got a chance to be out there. Finished in 4 days, 13.5 hours.

Thank you for all the support and tips/beta from the TNGA veteran riders, and all the small businesses along the route that go out of their way to support the riders. The community behind this ride is second to none.

Here are some photos along the way with captions. I really enjoyed the new bags and have some minor improvements to bring back to the shop. A route like this is perfect for finding those small tweaks needed to make them even better.

Camped on the Stanley gap climb on night 2. I really wanted to push over but my hamstring tightened up and was worried about straining it. After a beautiful night it loosened up and never got worse the rest of the way.

So many great single track descents, I loved all of them but bear creek was absolutely ripping.

Night 3 at Mulberry Gap. The sky opened up twice with monsoon-like rain when riding in to get here and this was a perfect resupply to re group, dry my feet out and get some good sleep. Left early before breakfast so I wouldn’t be tempted to stay here too long : )

This was past Dalton on the Snake. Super rocky, slow miles with very limited water. These last two days were probably the hardest for me but my favorite parts. The singletrack here is so different from the first half of the ride. Lots of slow chunky climbs but the descending was oh so sweet.

My last night, night 4 camping at the last good stream before the final push. Rolled out at 4:30 am to finish the next day.

And that’s it! TNGA in the books. Kate from Mulberry Gap - Your Adventure Basecamp pulled up to pick me up about 30 seconds after I finished. I can’t speak highly enough of the support Mulberry provides for this ride. So grateful for all they do, thank you!

A sneak peak of some prototype bags Greg is testing on the Trans North Georgia bikepacking route this week.

Rockgeist will have some bags for sale at Mulberry Gap - Your Adventure Basecamp so you can stock up before or after the race.

Good luck to Greg and everyone else leaving on the TNGA grand depart tomorrow! Stay hydrated, ride hard, but most importantly try to have some fun. -Josiah

This might be the easiest bikepacking setup I’ve ever packed.

After thousands of kilometres of bike travel, I’ve learned that a good packing system isn’t just about carrying gear, it’s about making every stop and every morning pack up way more fun, and way less of a hassle.

For the Great Divide, I’m running a fully waterproof setup.

This is my first time using Old Man Mountain racks and bags, and the biggest surprise has been how easy they are to pack, unpack, attach and remove.

My favourite piece? The Manzanita Cradle + handlebar bag combo.

The bag hangs from the cradle via little loops while you tighten the straps, so you’re not doing the classic “balance the bag on your knee and wrestle with buckles” move.

This seemingly small detail makes a HUGE difference while packing up in the morning.

I’m also carrying:

* OMM 12L Atlas Rack Pack for food, sandals and kitchen gear

Some sections of the Divide have 3-day food carries and extended water carries, so it's nice to know I have tons of space for all the snacks and water.

* OMM 7L Hemlock rear panniers for my sleep kit, tent and water filter

* Rockgeist 52Hz roll-top frame bag for tools, electronics, first aid and random things

* Rockgeist Honeypot feed bags for snacks, toiletries and everyday items + the innovative Spacelink for a more stable cockpit

* Two OMM flip cages on the front fork to carry extra water bottles for the long dry stretches

* OMM Elkhorn Rack to attach the Atlas Rack pack + Flip Cages + Panniers (such a smooth system)

There are some super rough, rowdy and remote stretches on this trail, so knowing the rack and bags are going to hold up (and hold on) is also crucial to my peace of mind.

So far, I am really impressed with the sturdiness and ease of use of this set up 🤘🏼

If you want the full gear list + links to every bag, rack, and cage in this setup, comment PACK and we’ll send it over. 🚴‍♀️

Prepping for our annual ORAMM pre-ride. Saturday, (and friends) will be riding the 2026 ORAMM route and sharing previews of the new route and the incredible scenes throughout Pisgah’s Grandfather District.

The Cotic Solaris is setup for long rides and gravel roads but can still rip singletrack. It’s been purpose built for long rides in Pisgah like a self supported ORAMM ride (62 miles / 8,400 ft.)

The Little Dumpling 2.0 has arrived! This version of the Little Dumpling has all the features of our Big Dumpling but in a smaller package.

A few months ago Hannah made her own custom little dumpling that included the same waist compression straps and daisy chain found on the big dumpling. The resulting bag was so comfortable and good looking that we decided to incorporate these changes into all future little dumplings.

The added compression straps allow you to fine tune the fit of the bag and offers a more snug fit when carrying heavy objects. The new daisy chain is the perfect spot to clip a blinkie light or carabiner to your bag.

We love these new updates and hope you do too! Little Dumpling 2.0 is available now for purchase on our website.

Close up of the new woodland camo tactical x50. This is one of our favorites, it’s got a really clean weave to it and great body to pair with the durability. We have the tactical line in other colors too; khaki, ranger green, and black. 🧡🧡🧡
